We first met this beautiful couple at the Hotel Eldorado, Kelowna many months before their wedding to see how well we clicked. What was intended as a quick meet-up turned into dinner lasting a couple hours. Their love of dogs was any easy conversation to start up as Taylor was wearing his custom screen-printed Vans, with a picture of their dog Mollie on both shoes. It’s always great to spend time with couples, learning about their lives, and how they met. We do it as often as possible!
Coming from Calgary the Bride & Groom planned every little, thoughfull, stunning detail for their destination wedding in Summerland, BC. Their wedding vendor team was on point and their estate winery venue …Read More
Nancy & Jason were the sweetest couple and their elderly pooch named “Diamond” walked down the aisle to make sure these two were happily joined under the arch at The Cove Lakeside Resort. It was a beautiful Okanagan summer day and one of their loving family members took Diamond for the ceremony to keep her in the shade.
Nancy wore designer Badgley Mischka peep toe wedding shoes (Gillian Ankle Strap Evening Shoe) that were just to die for! An amazing arrangement of pink peonies, O’hara garden roses (my favorite), and white dahlias made up her gorgeous bouquet.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at The Cove (a great wedding venue in West Kelowna). The Cove is a great option in …Read More
I always get super excited when I get an inquiry for a September wedding because that’s the month that I married the love of my life (and best friend) Jake. So when Meagan & Brian told me that they were getting married at the Historic O’Keefe Ranch in Vernon in September I intently knew that this wedding was going to be a photographer’s dream.
O’Keefe Ranch is an awesome wedding venue that lends itself to a variety of shooting locations, with an overall rustic appeal. The little white church is as charming as it is old.
The girls got ready at The Castle at Swan Lake. Their room had a gorgeous loft that gifted us with tons of natural light. …Read More
Some of you may recall Mimi and Kenny’s engagement session (found here) that involved multiple outfits, several locations throughout Kelowna and Lake Country (including Cedar Creek Estate Winery), a horse, a vintage little sailing boat, and a very cute couple. It was an exciting challenge to accommodate Mimi and Kenny’s vision. The wedding was a lot more laid back but no less extraordinary.
The ceremony took place at Cedar Creek Estate Winery, which is always an amazing venue. Mimi wore a gorgeous couture wedding dress, while her bridesmaids wore complimentary blush & cream dresses, they were all stunning. Her bouquet was absolute perfection with an arrangement of Peonies, Roses, Eucalyptus, and Dusty Miller. Kenny wore a classic two-tone grey suit, …Read More
Their are so many details that can occupy the space in the reception hall; everything that represents your tastes and personality. Flowers can play a small role in your wedding or they can play a huge one. They can be understated or they can be all encompassing. I for one love, love, love (LOVE) flowers and incorporate them into my every day life as much as possible. Keep in mind that when it comes to weddings, flowers can often break the bank, but if you’re crafty you can have the bouquet of your matrimonial dreams. This is just a little motivation to get you adding your own personal touch to your wedding.
Always consider what’s in season and readily available …Read More
I wanted to create this section to help brides with a few questions I get asked from time to time. Every wedding is a little different and every couple share something unique, but I’m hoping these frequently asked questions are able to help someone through the wedding planning process.
Q: Do you need a deposit to book? & When should I book you as my wedding photographer?
As soon as you have your date set and your venue booked, we can start making plans to chat about the photography coverage of your day. The sooner you find/book your wedding photographer the better. I was shocked when I went to book a photographer for my wedding, almost everyone …Read More
