I have been lucky enough to find myself living in one of the most beautiful places in Canada, photographing some of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet – and this event had a LOT of wonderful people.
One of those wonderful people was Yuriko, she runs Vintage Origami – a styling company here in Kelowna BC. The outrageously talented Yuriko was inspired by a classic French farmers market and she executed it with grace. Honestly one of my favorite themes as I love everything French. This photo shoot had a focus on the design and decor, as Vintage Origami asked me to snap some film of this stunning and intimate elopement. The wedding party was only 6 people, and took place at Mackie Lake House in Vernon, BC. Every single detail was perfect: The canopy and wreaths utilizing hop vines was something I’d never seen before and so romantic! The rest of the florals we breathtaking; the floral arrangements that “Crocus Floral” did for this wedding won the 2017 BC Wedding awards for “Best wedding florist overall” utilizing local apple branches with fruit still on the branches.
