A big Irish wedding in a beautiful West Kelowna setting. Jaclyn and Marc tied the knot at the gorgeous  Powers Creek Retreat.

It always amazes me when I hear about family traveling half way across the world to be there for a wedding, and all the stories of family and friends coming together to make the day extra special. It’s the little details that make a huge difference like the table runners, hand made by the Groom’s Mother In Law, or the wedding cake made by the Maid of Honor – Jaclyn’s long time friend from high school. All these things make each wedding so wonderful and unique, I love it!

Christine and Daniel were just the sweetest couple you could ever meet! You could tell that they loved each other full-heartedly the second they saw one another at their ceremony. Friends and family gathered from all over the country to celebrate their love at one of Kelowna’s most breathtaking wineries; Cedar Creek Estates. The bride and groom exchanged vows with their pastor from Trinity Church, under the contemporary wedding arch, you really couldn’t ask for a better setting. Just when you thought things couldn’t possibly get any cuter with this couple, bubbles filled the sky when they walked down the aisle as man and wife.

A wedding at the Hotel Eldorado are some of my favorite to be sure. The lis just something about this historic building turned wedding hot spot that get me. An old story to add to your new story. The bride chose to get ready in the Eldorado’s bridal suite and the groom opted for the Delta.

I started with the groom in the morning at the Delta Grand Okanagan hotel in Kelowna. Travis was gracious enough to pose for a few photos while the rest of the groomsmen where busy getting dolled up. Tim & Melissa | Backyard Orchard | Salmon Arm BC | Wedding Photography

There was never any denying the love between Tim & Melissa, from the first moment meeting them they were warm and inviting, even through all the nerves. The wedding took place in Salmon Arm, on a beautiful piece of property owned by Tim’s family. It was the perfect location with breathtaking mountain views, open fields, cherry trees and a hay barn. The photos set themselves.

The bride had a vintage lace, diamond white dress for the ceremony and an ivory showstopper for the reception. She looked stunning in both, as you could imagine!

The reception was at the beautiful Salmon Arm Prestige inn where family and friends gathered to share their love with the newly wed couple.

Well this was a fun styled wedding shoot! The power of positive thinking really came into play this day.

The weather started off sunny and beautiful, and I had everything all packed up, waiting by the door to be taken to the lookout at Bertram Creek Park. Then the sky decided to change it up a bit. I got calls from everyone involved wondering if we were going to brave the wind and rain storm that had started in on our shoot location. However I was determined and optimistic enough for everyone that we were going to be ok.
