Colin & Jacqui | Kelowna | Fine Art Film Engagement Photographer

Jacqui & Coli are true foodies at heart so right away I knew we were going to be great friends. When planning their engagement session they told me that they liked fall colours and wine so I thought a charcuterie picnic amongst the fall foliage was the way to go.

The wine glasses were made and given to them as an engagement gift from a friend and they brought along a bottle of Hester Creek red wine that they had been saving for a special occasion. Every detail was attended to and they even matched their engagement outfits perfectly to the fall palette. Colin had a pop of red (socks) in his outfit to compliment his fiancé, and Jacqui chose …

Kaitlin & Tyler | Kelowna BC | Fine Art Film Engagement Photographer

Kaitlin and Tyler met us at a secret location in Kelowna; a park with sprawling trees and a turtle filled pond. It’s a great little location with a variety of beautiful photo spots. It’s also a great place to bring a dog, when couples want to include their furry family members in their photos. Kaitlin and Tyler’s dog Zeppelin was looking dapper and freshly groomed for this engagement shoot. This amazing couple is also planning to let Zeppelin made an appearance in the wedding party photos on the big day.

We would later move to another location beside an apple orchard for a little Okanagan flair. While taking pictures a charismatic farmer showed up on a tractor, blasting music from …

Pam & Jeff | Cedar Creek Winery | Kelowna BC | Engagement Photographer

I love being an Okanagan Photographer because it allows me to do these super romantic picnic engagement sessions at places like Cedar Creek Winery, with wonderful couples like Pam and Jeff.

Pam & Jeff had a sweet and intimate picnic among the vines for their Summer engagement session, including  a 2014 bottle of Cedar Creek Estate Winery Gewurztraminer and a loaf of locally baked French Bread. Accompanied by their adorable Jack Russel Terrier named Piper, Pam and Jeff wanted to capture a piece of the Okanagan for their engagement before they traveled to Newfoundland for their wedding.

We could see some heavy clouds slowly inching across the lake as the shoot went on, but it allowed for some perfect golden …

Kailey & Cole | Bertram Creek Park | Kelowna BC | Engagement Photographer

I met with Kailey & Cole in the lounge of The Hotel Eldorado; the venue where they will be getting married in 2017. Kailey and I ordered that same drink and we all laughed about the simple things in life – I knew that this was going to be a great engagement shoot.

Oh boy was I right! Kailey & Cole had the most fun, loving connection with each other. There was so much laughter, dancing and snuggles it was hard to call it a day when everything was done.

Kailey wore an adorable blue and white striped dress that she had picked up from a trip in New Orleans – Cole’s outfit complimented hers perfectly, these two definitely had …

Kasi & Wilson | Knox Mountain | Kelowna BC | Engagement Photographer

Kasi and Wilson are easily one of the most adorable couples I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph. This gorgeous engagement shoot took place amongst the sweeping tall grasses of Knox Mountain, in the heart of Kelowna, BC. There are few locations in the Okanagan that are so versatile and so convenient at the same time, being just minutes from Kelowna’s downtown core.

Kasi had a darling pink Eiffel Tower charm necklace which I loved (anything that reminds me of Paris is my favorite thing), that went perfectly with her flowy summer dress and her pink painted fingernails!

It’s always endearing when my couples bring their own personal artifacts to add to a  photo shoot. It really makes it their own, …
