Getting ready is one of my favorite times on the wedding day. I get to see the bride and groom first thing as the day starts and I get time to sip a coffee and capture all of the little details you have gathered for your wedding. Perfume bottles, earrings, veils, invitations, cufflinks and shoes, bridesmaids gifts, hair, and makeup are all a part of the lead-up to your vows and I love every minute of it.

One tip I always give my brides is to think about a “signature scent”. Your sense of smell is closely tied you your long-term memory so by choosing a perfume that you use on special occasions, like your engagement and wedding day, you ...

Lindsay & Taylor | Evolve Cellars Winery | Summerland BC | Wedding Photographer

We first met this beautiful couple at the Hotel Eldorado, Kelowna many months before their wedding to see how well we clicked. What was intended as a quick meet-up turned into dinner lasting a couple hours. Their love of dogs was any easy conversation to start up as Taylor was wearing his custom screen-printed Vans, with a picture of their dog Mollie on both shoes. It’s always great to spend time with couples, learning about their lives, and how they met. We do it as often as possible!

Coming from Calgary the Bride & Groom planned every little, thoughfull, stunning detail for their destination wedding in Summerland, BC. Their wedding vendor team was on point and their estate winery venue ...

Kaitlin & Tyler | Sunset Ranch Golf Course | Kelowna BC | Fine Art Film Wedding Photographer

Kaitlin and Tyler’s big day was here and there was rain in the forecast! The wedding couple opted to do a first look and all of the wedding party photos before the ceremony – a decision that proved very wise! The clouds gave us some amazingly epic light before the rain came. Kaitlin wore a gorgeous A-line, lace and tulle wedding dress complete with a veil and crystal beaded belt. The veil had a delicate beaded edge, and when Kaitlin removed it during the evening she replaced it with her crystal belt, using it as a hair piece. Her bridesmaids wore navy blue dresses that looked amazing and carried bouquets made by the bride herself. We stopped off at an ...

Nancy & Jason | The Cove Lakeside Resort | West Kelowna BC | Wedding Photographer

Nancy & Jason were the sweetest couple and their elderly pooch named “Diamond” walked down the aisle to make sure these two were happily joined under the arch at The Cove Lakeside Resort. It was a beautiful Okanagan summer day and one of their loving family members took Diamond for the ceremony to keep her in the shade.

Nancy wore designer Badgley Mischka peep toe wedding shoes (Gillian Ankle Strap Evening Shoe) that were just to die for! An amazing arrangement of pink peonies, O’hara garden roses (my favorite), and white dahlias made up her gorgeous bouquet.

Both the ceremony and reception were held at The Cove (a great wedding venue in West Kelowna). The Cove is a great option in ...

Emily & Carter | Romantic Mountain Top | Kelowna BC | Wedding Photographer

This real couple Emily & Carter stole the show with the love they had for one another and were the perfect match for this floral “Summer Blues” inspired shoot. The two-piece wedding dress was made locally here in Kelowna BC by the talented Lisa from Lillian Wild and the soft blue tones of tulle paired perfectly with the whimsical pink bouquet that was made by an immensely artistic florist from Ivy May Floral. This soft romantic bridal look was seamlessly brought together by the makeup artist Kathryn Ramsay who has perfectly mastered that “bridal glow” that everyone wants on their wedding day.

This feminine, blush bouquet contained astilbe garden roses, cappuccino roses, spray roses, blushing bride protea, olive & passion ...
