Sanctuary gardens wedding photography

Kasi & Wilson | Sanctuary Gardens | Kelowna BC | Wedding Photographer

Sanctuary Gardens is perfect anytime of the year, but August is sunny, warm, and bright. It is truly a perfect location for your summer wedding. If your day turns a little gray fear not, because with the new addition of the “Rose Room” Sanctuary Gardens has you covered in any weather condition the Okanagan can throw at you.

I am so blessed to be a photographer that has access to such great Kelowna wedding venues. Every time my husband and I photograph up at Sanctuary Garens we look at each other and say “let’s get married again – it’s so beautiful here!”.

My bride Kasi & her groom Wilson were as sweet as they come. Wilson was so attentative towards ...

Hotel Eldorado wedding photography

Cayley & Adam | Hotel Eldorado & Quails Gate Winery | Kelowna BC | Wedding Photographer

Being a Kelowna Wedding Photographer means that I get to meet so many loving couples. I instantly connected with Cayley & Adam – they are one of those couples that when you meet you know that they will be together forever.

The history of the Hotel Eldorado is remarkable; it is an essential landmark of Kelowna’s heritage and is an absolutely stunning locale for both wedding ceremony and reception. There are plenty of nooks to steal away for some private photos, despite the bustling restaurant and Boardwalk.

The couple opted to do a First Look, which allowed us to get some awesome shots before the wedding, and gave the bride and groom a moment to relax before saying their I-Do’s. ...

Tower Ranch in Kelowna engagement photographer

Mimi & Kenny | Cedar Creek, Bertram & Tower Ranch | Kelowna BC | Engagement Photography

Mimi, my bride-to-be, had a very particular vision in mind for her photo shoot and my regular 1 hr engagement session wasn’t going to cut it. After discussing with Mimi her ideal Okanagan engagement photography session I set out to find the perfect props & settings. I managed to sorce out a vintage row boat in Lake Country, a horse and a Kelowna vineyard where I was able to take an aerial shot of the Okanagan vines, the lake and to top it all off – those picturesque mountains. Since I only take on one shoot per day I have the flexibility to make a photo session longer or shorter if the need arises.

Both Kenny and Mimi wore traditional outfits ...

Winter Family Shoot

Family Winter Shoot | Kelowna BC | Fine Art Film Photographer

Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean we can’t find ways to get all warm and fuzzy, and this winter family shoot was chock-full of the warm and fuzzies. I met Natalie at a girl’s night at Moxie’s here in Kelowna. She was one Yuriko’s (Vintage Origami) past brides and was in need of a night out. We hit it off right away and immediately stated to plan a winter family shoot.

We met at a location that the family frequently visits to go on hikes.

It’s rare to have a perfectly happy baby the entire duration of a photo shoot, but this little one was an absolute angel – smiling the whole time. Even though it was a little ...

Okanagan Vineyard Winery engagement

Courtney & Alex | Cedar Creek Winery | Kelowna BC | Engagement Photographer

Courtney and I had the pleasure of working together in the past when I was still a graphic designer for a local Kelowna company. She was always a ray of sunshine and although we both no longer work together I was so excited when she contacted me and asked me to be her wedding photographer!

The engagement photo session took place at Cedar Creek Estate Winery. Fall was setting in and Mother Nature gifted us with some cloud coverage that gave us the perfect even lighting us photographers lust after. Deer came grazing through the vines behind Courtney and Alex to photobomb the session quickly before making their way through the vineyard. Courtney wore an elegant black dress with heels ...
