There are countless places in the Okanagan that have amazing views that are perfect for an engagement shoot, proposal or wedding. The many sprawling lakes and mountains are a what make British Columbia such in incredible place to live, and the Okanagan is in no short supply of either. Davison Orchard in Vernon is a gem that has so much to offer newley engaged couples. There are so many unique romantic backdrops for the perfect engagement session that is is hard to choose just one sometimes.
Pauline and Stefan hold the Okanagan as a special place in their hearts. It was at Quail’s Gate Winery that Stefan proposed to Pauline on a return visit to the winery. There’s an incredibly sweet write-up by Pauline herself at dearbride.com detailing the Stefan’s romantic proposal with their family close by to share in the love!
They came back to the Okanagan for their spring, apple orchard engagement shoot among the Ambrosia (Jen’s favorite) and Honey Crisp (Jake’s favorite) apples blossoming at this time of year. Pauline and Stefan packed a picnic blanket along with a bottle of bubbly to enjoy between the rows of trees. Stefan’s shirt complimented Pauline’s floral sun dress perfectly, accompanied by a bouquet arranged by yours truly. The airy pastel tones really emphasize the love and romance these two emanate for one another. This truly is what medium format film was made for!
