Jenn & John | God’s Mountain Estate & Family Orchard | Penticton & Summerland BC | Engagement PhotographyJuly 19th, 2016 by jennifer
This beautiful Okanagan orchard engagement session truly started the year off right! This fun couple came all the way up from Vancouver just to have their engagement photos taken and boy was it worth it! Jenn & John were my first couple to have photos taken up at the breathtaking God’s Mountain Estate in Penticton BC. We were super lucky with our timing because we were one of the few people who caught the brilliance of the “wisteria wall” and the blossoms in the orchard were also in full bloom! Everything from the romeo & julliet balcony to the sun peaking through the trees in the orchard, this engagement was one of the more romantic photo shoots I have done to date – and I loved every minute of it!
The family orchard is also the location of Jenn & John’s wedding in the fall, so it has special meaning to the both of them and I was glad that we were able to shoot there when we did. It’s going to be a neat transition so see what the venue will look like in September with all of the wedding guests and decor.
Jenn & John are so fun and down to earth, I can’t wait to be with them on their special day, when they say “I do”.

I met with Kailey & Cole in the lounge of The Hotel Eldorado; the venue where they will be getting married in 2017. Kailey and I ordered that same drink and we all laughed about the simple things in life – I knew that this was going to be a great engagement shoot.
Oh boy was I right! Kailey & Cole had the most fun, loving connection with each other. There was so much laughter, dancing and snuggles it was hard to call it a day when everything was done.
Kailey wore an adorable blue and white striped dress that she had picked up from a trip in New Orleans – Cole’s outfit complimented hers perfectly, these two definitely had style to spare.
The picturesque lake and mountain views of the Okanagan were the perfect marriage for this couple. They enjoyed watching the sun set on Kelowna as we finished up the engagement shoot and couldn’t wait to come back. I can without a doubt say that these two are a special couple and I can’t wait to photograph their Summer wedding in 2017!
