A big Irish wedding in a beautiful West Kelowna setting. Jaclyn and Marc tied the knot at the gorgeous Powers Creek Retreat.
It always amazes me when I hear about family traveling half way across the world to be there for a wedding, and all the stories of family and friends coming together to make the day extra special. It’s the little details that make a huge difference like the table runners, hand made by the Groom’s Mother In Law, or the wedding cake made by the Maid of Honor – Jaclyn’s long time friend from high school. All these things make each wedding so wonderful and unique, I love it!
The mint, Aqua, and coral color scheme was perfect and the food was outstanding, prepared at the retreat by the staff.
The picturesque back drop at the Powers Creek Retreat lent itself to some beautiful ceremony pictures. The large open field was able to accommodate a large amount of people, encapsulated by mountains and tree as only British Columbia can offer.
Thank you Jaclyn and Marc for letting me photograph your wedding day, may the luck of the Irish be with ya on your many travels in married life!

Trisha and Codie’s wedding was a photographer’s playground with all of the gorgeous vintage wedding decor details. Everything from the rustic, hand-painted wooden signs to the chalkboard photo booth backdrop – every detail was wonderful. Trisha was the center of it all with her vintage lace gown and heart warming smile. Most of the vintage wedding decor was rented from Bespoke Decor Rentals in Vancouver BC.
Family and friends alike had a blast in the barn that was built for this wedding …well not just the wedding; a collection of vintage cars occupies the space now. The couple really couldn’t of had a more perfect wedding venue.
The custom, handmade chalkboard photobooth was a perfect way for the bride & groom to get to see everyone who attended their wedding. The bride Trisha even took the time after the wedding to personally send everyone a copy of their photobooth photo.
Frosted Tier Cakes really outdid themselves when they made this buttercream, three tier, vintage-style wedding cake. I think my favorite thing – besides the bride an groom themselves was the huge marquee L-O-V-E letters that were lit up behind the head table.
Oh I almost forgot to mention the hilarious musical number the bridesmaids performed for the bride and groom – a show stopper to be sure!
Well thank you again Trisha and Codie for letting me be your wedding photographer! I hope you enjoy all of the memories and photos of your perfect day.
